Technical Training
Technique is the ability to manipulate the ball to do what you want it to do, whether that
be dribbling, passing, shooting, crossing or receiving the ball. At Soccer iQ, we place a strong emphasis on ball mastery, as it is the most essential part of a player’s arsenal of abilities. By incorporating game-like situations in our training sessions, we are able to accelerate the development of our student-athletes’ mastery of the ball. Our student-athletes stand out in games, practices, and try-outs largely due to their exceptionally developed technical skills.
Champion Mindset
At Soccer iQ, we believe in developing well-rounded athletes who not only excel on the field, but also in life. Thats why we offer a comprehensive SEL (Social Emotional Learning) curriculum that is incorporated into our training sessions. We aim to build
mental strength alongside physical prowess as we believe they are inherently intertwined.
Tactical Awareness
At Soccer IQ we know that a technical player is infinitely more effective when they are
tactically sound. Knowing your role in a team is essential to both individual and team success, so we incorporate extensive training to foster tactical awareness from a young age. A player who is familiar with different tactics makes them more adaptable and therefore, a more valuable asset to any team.

Resilience and Motivation
SEL is a key component in helping individuals develop strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and resilience. These are qualities that not only benefit athletes in their sport, but also in their personal and professional lives. During our training sessions, our coaches incorporate a variety of activities and discussions to promote
self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
Strength Training
At Soccer iQ Institute, strength training is an essential part of our athlete development model. Our soccer-specific training program focuses on building strength, speed, power, and agility to enhance performance on the field. Sessions emphasize proper movement mechanics, mobility, and stability to help reduce the risk of injury while improving overall athletic performance. Integrated into the weekly schedule, our strength and conditioning program supports long-term development, helping student-athletes become stronger, faster, and more resilient competitors.​

Recovery Sessions
Our recovery sessions are designed specifically for student-athletes who engage in demanding activities, allowing them ample time to heal and rejuvenate. Our team of experienced coaches has developed a comprehensive recovery schedule tailored to our
student-athletes club and tournament commitments. As part of this program, students will have access to amenities such as saunas, compression boots for joint and leg recovery, and cooling plunge pools.
