The Soccer iQ Institute's Triple G camp went beyond soccer skills and physical conditioning, placing a significant emphasis on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Our campers delved into understanding their purpose and discussing their passions, fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness and direction. Through guided discussions and activities, they learned the importance of maintaining a positive mindset in the face of adversity and remaining resilient, thus cultivating a healthier, more positive outlook on life.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in team-building exercises that required effective communication and collaboration, such as solving puzzles together and participating in team-based soccer drills. These activities helped them develop essential social skills and understand the value of working as a cohesive unit. The camp culminated in a vision board activity, where campers remembered the concepts learned and focused on their future goals, aligning their passions with their aspirations. This approach to learning not only enhances their soccer abilities but also equips them with vital life skills, setting the foundation for a brighter and more positive future.
